As the frequency, duration, and places I’ve documented have increased, it became apparent that the walking maps of Los Angeles and other locales needed a new home because it’s an ongoing project that’s evolving in numbers and topics, so I’ve created a sister-site for Travelin’ Local which features all of my walking maps and adventures.

My love of walking, discovering new places to visit, and taking pictures is growing by leaps and bounds as each new day I find a new area to cover, and interesting place to visit and document.

Because of the positive recognition that I’ve received from the merging of pictures, maps, and walks, it has motivated me to increase the scope and direction of continuing to build upon this body of work. I love sharing my walking maps with you, and hope you’ll use them and enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

If you’re planning a visit to Los Angeles—or are a resident–and are interested in a specific area for a self-guided walking tour, drop me a note and I’ll see what we can come up with…..:)

Meanwhile enjoy the virtual tour and when you have a chance, try and walk each one of my walking journey’s, or simply create your own.

The point is to have fun, learn, and appreciate our city, Los Angeles, and its amazing and sometimes powerful hold it has on all of our sense and sensibilities.

So sit back, click to see a picture or a link, and enjoy–here’s where I’ve been so far:
